Virginia Artists In Action (VAIA) will be closing our retail space on Charlottesville's Downtown Mall at the end of June due to the sluggish economy.
VAIA has lined up alternative venues to showcase member artwork and will continue to participate in First Friday's Art Walk on a regular basis at the new OpenSpaces CoWorking building next to the Downtown ACAC beginning on September 4, 2009.

Who We Are
- Virginia Artists In Action (VAIA) is dedicated to promoting artists living and working in Virginia while providing a stimulating environment for artistic instruction, personal expression, social awareness, and financial independence. Artist's works consist of music, 2-D, 3-D, dance, poetry/writing, clothing, and mixed-media. Each artist manages his or her own career and designates a Virginia non-profit to receive a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their work.
